Dirtbags! draws inspiration from countless sources, including Starship Troopers, Tank Girl, Aliens, and more. While the game serves as satire critiquing corporate greed and capitalism, it also explores mature themes, such as class systems, private prisons, internment, incarceration, drug use, mental health, and death, without intending to diminish the real-world severity of these issues.
