This supplement, Tales of the Masterless, it's about that struggle, that solitary fight. You're not tied to any one path here. Maybe you're a wandering rōnin, a crafty shinobi, a streetwise bakuto, or something else entirely. Doesn't matter. You are alone on this road, with just your wits and your virtues.
This isn't some fairy tale. It's raw and real. It's about making choices when the path ahead is foggy, and every step could be your last. You'll find yourself in tight spots, where the blade of decision cuts both ways. The journey's tough, the choices tougher, and there's no promise of a happy ending. But that's the beauty of it. In a world where everything's up for grabs, maybe you'll find your own way. . . . . . Maybe.
Tales of the Masterless focuses on the dual pillars of Narrative and Moves to drive the gameplay.
This book assumes use with the RONIN rules. Ronin is built on the Mork Bork engine. Ronin can be purchased here.
