Sales Examples
- A sale of a $10 PDF, would net a publisher $7.99
- A sale of a $20 book to a customer would net the publisher $16.23
- A sale of a $50 book to a customer would net the publisher $40.97
- A sale of a $50 book at an event would net the publisher $36.15
- A sale of a $20 book to a retailer would net the publisher $9.63
- A sale of a $50 book to a retailer would net the publisher $24.48
Reward Point Program
Points redeemed earn a publisher half their value as a payout. For example, if a customer used 40 points on a $10 PDF, and paid the remaining $6, the publisher gets a normal $6 sale and earns another $2. (This is slightly better than a $8 sale, as there are fewer fees.)
Essentially this means that the marketplace provides half the discount and the publisher for who points are being redeemed provides the other half.
Only "PDF Only" earn points and can have points redeemed against them.
