This is a game design game.

You play the first part of Fabrication collaboratively, selecting or randomizing your fundamentals and concept. Then brainstorm 3 game-play elements together. This shifts into a game-it-out phase where you playtest, and finally evaluate your creation. 

Fabrication Alpha Playkit is: 

3 double-sided tri-fold brochures used to build your game

1 double-sided appendix

1 summary play-sheet

5 play-sheets that you use with tokens

7 page long example of play that the group called Merchants of Primordial Chaos (included as PDF)

A slightly overstuffed letter-sized envelop to contain it.

What is Fabrication?

It is a game design game.

The following uses terminology from Fabrication to define Fabrication.

Game Concept: Players collaboratively create a unique game system and test it. You will stake claims on aspects you care about with tokens.
